BabyTrack (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of parents and caregivers who use our mobile application and website (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

• Baby profiles (name, date of birth, gender)
• Tracking entries (feeding, sleep, diaper, growth records)
• Invite tokens used to share access with family members

• Device type, operating system version, and app version
• Anonymous usage analytics (crash reports, feature use)
• IP address (used solely for security and abuse prevention)

• To sync your data across your devices and with family members you invite
• To send transactional notifications (e.g., invite accepted)
• To detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your baby's data for advertising.

We share your data only in the following circumstances:

• Family sharing: Data you enter is visible to other users you explicitly invite.
• Service providers: We use third-party providers (e.g., cloud infrastructure) solely to operate the Service under strict data-processing agreements.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from within the app, which will permanently erase all associated data within 30 days.

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest) and access controls to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password and enable two-factor authentication where available.

The Service is intended for use by adults (parents and caregivers). We collect data about babies only as entered by adult users. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children under 13.

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you. Please reach out through our support form to exercise these rights.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
